Science Beats All
Facts, figures and numbers are irrefutable and can make or break a case for any- ask any lawyers and they would agree. Of the several research sessions that were conducted, one was on the noted benefits of CBD, with the ability to reduce stress and anxiety being on the top of the list. A 2019 study was conducted on a test group of 103 adults. The result was noted on how CBD helps in calming down patients and lowers anxiety. According to the scientist, the anxiety score of 79 of the 103 patients reduced in the first month of observation.
The test involved taking 25mg to 175mg of CBD a day, over a course of a 3 month period. Those who have fears of public speaking and social anxiety disorder have been known to be much at ease after CBD use.
A study in 2018, involved giving male patients an oral dose of 300mg of CBD over the 90 minutes test duration. The test condition involved a simulated public speaking environment. It was noted that researchers found a significant reduction in the speaker’s anxiety.
Another study in 2018, involved giving 490 patients who were suffering from acute and chronic forms of insomnia, reportedly experienced an improvement in the quality of sleep and disturbances in the middle of the night. The test subjects were given a dose of CBD and THC. They were asked to grade in a scale of 1-10, with 10 being downright severe. The average amongst the group was 6.6 before the test, and after the test, it slipped to a lowly 2.2 average.
The science on CBD is compelling. Researchers are confident that the effects of CBD alone, without that of THC, will make a marked difference in the quality of life and help in alleviating a host of ailments. Science doesn’t lie, and neither does CBD.
